Joe Posted July 24, 2004 Posted July 24, 2004 Just found my carpet soaking wet in my 95 ES300. Water was only slowly dripping out of the A/C drain. Pulled the carpet in the front passenger seat away from the center console and I and could see the A/C unit was sweating and full of water. I pulled the drain hose and stuck a nail up into the white plastic housing. This cleared the blockage and the unit drained completely. Now, the question is: Can I open the white plastic housing and clean out whatever junk is floating around in there that had blocked the drain? I can't tell exactly what steps to take to most easily open the unit up and clean it out. Thanks, Joe.
mphughes31 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Joe, I have the same problem. I will try and free the blockage today. Is the panel easy to get to?
Joe Posted August 30, 2004 Author Posted August 30, 2004 Was not able to open up the unit. But I did clear the blockage as I described in my first posting. Have not had any problems since. Joe.
