1990 Ls400 Stereo Installation Kit

Hello, I'm going to replace my factory radio with an after market mp3 reciever. I have look into "Best kits" LX3 which doesn't seem too bad, except that I would like to put in a slimline EQ. I read about "metra" but I didn't see anything for a 1990 ls400. What other options are out there? Will the "LS 400 AUTO TURBOKIT METRA " work in my car? It claims it wil work in Some 91-95. Has anyone here had any good or bad experiences with the Metra kit for a 1990. The Metra Kit does look alot like what I am looking for, just not sure if it will work. Not afraid to modify if need be. **Stock: Nakamichi radio**

man-you got options. First off, ya rims are tight. Rollin Big Body! Ahhhhhh....my boy's got a 91 metra kit that fit perfectly, maybe you can try that and it will work. For 30 bucks or so i would say its worth a try, i had a shop tell me that all Ls's 90 to 94 had to have a radio base custom built. BS! His fit, yours couldnt be MUCh different could it? Anyways, good luck man,

Hey daveyboy377, you wouldnt' happen to know wher you're friend bought the metra Kit from? Do you know if it's the kit for the 95 with some modifications? I'm going to do more research on metra. I'm thinking of going to a used car lot, and checking the radio on a 95 and see if the radio is the same size as mine. I have seen pictures of the metra for a 95 and it looked sweet.
