thisisludicrous
The door lock switch on my passenger side has popped it's cap, leaving the two buttons and the white plastic separator/rocker underneath exposed. I've seen this on other Lexus autos before, so I know it's not a unique problem. My question is - what's the easiest way to replace it? Just try to find a fully intact door lock switch on Ebay, or find replacement with Lexus or Toyota switchgear supplier, or ??? The exposed switch is the smallest of details, and still fully operable itself (just push one of the two buttons individually rather than push on the rocker switch cap), but we wouldn't be driving these cars if we didn't care about such things, now would we? Thanks in advance.
chips229
On my 91 400 the switches look like a stardard Toyota switch,id have a look around the breakers yard for a cheap replacement then if no luck buy a new one.
