Permanently Mute Sound On Navigation

Is there a way to permanently mute the sound on the Navigation System? I always mute it manually, but was wondering if there's a way to pre-set it so I don't have to do that.

I haven't had your model Lexus to experiment with, but I feel the answer is yes. I was able to find it and turn the guidance audio off on a Lexus ES330 as well as a 2004 Honda Accord.

It may require a fast reader going through the manual but there are some other ways to find it.

Try Menu, then Setup, then go through all the screens using the ">" symbol. When I can get back to the manual I will see if I can get actual directions. If I don't find them, I will experiment and get back to you.

Do you mean doing something other than going into the menu and setting the volume to 'none'? I've done that on my wife's car and the nav audio never comes on except for when we manually turn it on...

I've gone through the manual several times to no avail.

And when I set Volume to "None" it comes back to the previous volume the next time I start the car.

Any other thoughts?
