trpl7
I have a 01 RX 300 and I'm installing a DVD Player/TV Tuner in the rear hatch close to the existing Factory Nav System in the Spare Tire Well. Can anyone recommend a good source for the -12 Volt Remote Wire? Either tapping into an existing one or run a wire up front. It works fine if I just ground it to the chassis like the Negative wire but it slowly drains the battery even with the unit off. The install requiers you to connect it to the parking brake for safety reasons but this system is not intended for the driver. Any suggestions or advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance... mwbuck
Cant you just tap into the aux cig lighter that is in the trunk? Probably a lot easier than removing the entire rear seat and looking for the amp.
customrx
Im pretty sure that the 12volt outlet in the rear is constant....I dont think the battery would take to that very well..... :chairshot:
customrx
And if your real god you should not have to take out the rear seat B)
