  1. If you need a replacement tranny check your local junk yard. I've been told trannys from 02 & 03's will work with 99 & 01's. 02+ tannys are better. Our local yard has an 02 hit in the rear. The tranny is already gone.
  2. My '96 volvo 960 can turn on a dime, my '02 RX needs 1/2 a block! Any way to mod the frontend?
  3. check this web site out http://www.etrailer.com/pc-BRACKET~18144.htm
  4. you can borrow a code puller from advanced auto for free. the OBDII plug is down by the hood release under the dash. Codes pulled will tell you where the problem is.
  5. Go to advance auto, borrow their code puller and get the codes. The obd II plug is below the hood release under the dash. Once you get the codes you know what the problem is.
  6. Thanks for the info, How often should the plugs be done?
  7. I just did my second drain/fill on my 02 rx, Amsoil syn. The dip stick says the diff requires a special oil. I called the dealership and got hold of a master tech, he said the mine did not require a special oil, but it changed in 03 or 04. I would check before doing the change. I drove about a 1/2 mile and then jacked it up again and drianed the back plug in question, it was full, about a quart of fluid. The drain/fill is not that hard at all, I do the 2 plugs up front. Buy some rubber gloves it is messy. check out this thread http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=220061
