  1. Nice, the Tanabe DF210's gives you a 1.8 front and 1.3 rear drop. Found a good price off amazon but that kind of drop is a little too much for me, I'd be scraping everytime I go up my driveway.
  2. I don't think B&G make springs for the LS400, I think they are only offered for the IS300. If you installed the springs yourself, what tools do you need to get the job done?
  3. Is that just springs or full coilovers?
  4. I have decided to buy some lowering springs because I want a more aggressive look and feel for my 91 LS400. I found the H & R springs to be least expensive unless someone knows another brand that is less expensive than H & R. With a 1 inch drop, I know the stock shocks are going to fail sooner so I need some help on what struts will support the drop. Are there any good sites that show how to replace springs?
  5. Edit: Don't mind this thread, no one on this forum has helped me out.
  6. I had the same problem you're having now. Sounds like you have an air leak. Try checking the MAF sensor, disconnect the MAF sensor plug and start the car up. Reply back when you try this.
  7. I thought about that but I don't have a welder for the nut holders. My best bet is to cut the ring off the old sub because I found the glue doesn't hold the ring, its one piece.
  8. For Christmas, I got an MTX subwoofer for my 91 LS400. I have everything unhooked and ready for installation. But the only problem I am having now is getting a new bracket to insure a perfect fit. I noticed that the old sub has very strong glue around the base but not sure if I would be able to use a dremel and put it on the MTX. Any suggestions?
  9. No, I didn't get an engine code. I scanned it just to make sure but no codes were given.
  10. Okay, well I replaced the spark plugs, wires, dizzy, and rotor. It is still misfiring. I am now completely stumped.
  11. Ok, heres whats happening. I just replaced the MAF sensor, reset the ecu, and now it idles great. But now whenever I am cruising and accelerate to 2800 rpm, it starts misfiring. Can resetting the ecu have done this? Oh, I removed the resonators and I am quite happy with the mellow roar B)
  12. Well, I replaced the lower ball joints and I can still hear the sound. However, I found the problem. It was the Tie Rod Ends. Is there any good, reputable site that sells Tie Rod Ends?
  13. Is there some forum or tutorial on this site to test the resistance on the MAF sensor?
  14. I just bought a re manufactured MAF sensor because my car was stalling while warmed up. Well, I put the new one in and reset the ecu. It was running like a champ for one day and today it has the same symptoms, stalling while warmed up. Although I figured if I set the A/C on, it will not stall. It did not stall. But once you turn off the A/C, it sputter then stalls. I pulled off codes 24 and 31, air intake temp sensor and MAF sensor signal. I am completely stumped on what to do now. What is the air intake temp sensor and where is it?
