And yes, my battery is VERY suspect.. i did a load test on it and whilst bringing up the amperage to the cca, the Voltage dropped so low that is

shut off the machine!

damn, I havent posted hear in a while!!

well it finally happened, after 3 years of almost flawless running(since i bought it) My car has *BLEEP*ed up!

I was driving about 35/40 mph when my car suddenly bucked and started running real rough. The car wont go faster then that anymore (40mph),

has rough start and idle. And has completely lost all electronics on the inside (lighting,acc. etc.) It had the flickering dash and sticky needles

problem before...

I read in a mechanics shop manual (ALLDATA) that in the event the PCM was ever to short or give out; that the car would run a back

up system with only the fuel pump active. (NO IGNITION TIMING OR SENSOR SIGNALS) which could explain some of these symptons?!?

Sound familiar to anyone??

I mentioned it to a friend and he said that he had heard of computers failing on these cars, but hes only a car salesman? Lol

They used to sell them over at luxurymods.com but now only the red\clear ones are available.... if anyone has any info on these it would be great!

Hi, its the middle of winter here in Quebec which means i got to wait another 2, maybe 3 months before i can take my car out of storage.... Now for a nice coming out party this year i want to do a few things to Alexis(my car lol) Change the headlights, taillights, new emblems, new intake, a drop... ladida but the key thing is the shoes. Ive been promising ALexis(my car) new shoes for 2 years now... she feels like 20s and i really like these konig prizmas.....

Im not sure if this is too sporty for an LS??

Simple question here, ive noticed the the right side of my trunk is leaking.. and causing quite a smell inside it. I remember seeing a post on something similar but cant find it, ANyone know of an easy quik fix for this. Or should i replace the trunk?? lol im in no rush tho, im storing my car for the winter in a few weeks and wld probably get this done next summer. ALong with a whole bunch of other treats!

Just wondering if anyone know exactly what the ECT switch does to my 93 LS? Theres only 2 options Power and Normal, and im pretty sure the power option is for a exactly that, power. Maybe faster accel or speed, but nothing im able to make a difference with. No changes in RPM or anything either... anyone know exactly what it does?. MIght it not work at all maybe??lol

I installed the Tanabe DF210's on stock shocks and never rubbed once. Could turn fully from lock to lock.

The trick is in the tires. Getting the 225 width instead of 245 tire allows the tire to "stretch" to the rim, giving you just enough extra clearance.

Stretching the tire also adds a vip look B)

Thats good to know because the ppl ive been talking too are all saying its an extra 1000$ or more for shocks and springs and lowering and all... Spending only 300$ on the Tanabe DFs seems just right to me, How much was your car lowered?

Is this "stretching" safE? do others do that too?
