you can take it to a test only station to have them just do a test, not the actual one that they send to DMV electronicly. So if it fails it wont be reported and you can get what is needed done to fix it .

yea I was gonna do that they got some used low milage tranny's I found out here for like 300 bux I'm gonna jump on one and replace it. The car is in okay shape the interior I'm replacing however the paint has some oxidizing on the bumpers but even in the condition its in i can get her back up to snuff and go from there.....

Sounds as if you need to replace the upper and lower control arm bushings Dazien sells them , also with the hydraulics on it before I would check out the motor mounts and transmission mounts as well. You are pretty much on the right track by changing the front shocks and rear struts and adding some lowering springs. Since you are going that route why not check out the traction (torsion) bars to see if they are not bent or tweeked out. Pretty much every front end item related to the suspension should be inspected a changed if damaged or wearing out.

Hello to all I havent been on the site since I sold my SC400 a couple years

I have a 1991 LS 400 I just picked up for $600 The car runs very well with the exception of the transmission and sound listed below.

When I first start up the car I hear a loud griding that goes away once the car is running. It seems as if its either my fly wheel or my starter, but the car starts up with no hesitation.

I also have a trasmission issue that my OD button flashes when it is ingaged, I also have the car shifting into higher gears too soon ex like going from 1st to 3rd. I am going to do a tranny fluid change to see if it goes away or stays the same. So if it doesnt improve could it be due to one of the solinoids going bad? I know that there are four of them.

Who offers the front controll arm bushings for the sc400? I dont want to pay for the whole assembly. I was hopeing to get some bushings or ball joint to repair them. Any info of you who have changed them holler at me

I think its cool i would have got the kit that matches the wood in the car but to each his own. The install of the kits is easy just need a blow dryer some alcohol wipes (no not booze) and some eseshive promotor. check out my site for my 03 corolla S with blue carbon fiber interior

I understaind that Bro but the Stillen pop charger is just a filter I had a n/a 300z the filter its very big and has the opening in the back to bolt up to the MAS. Unless the bolt pattern is diffrent which i will check, it wont fit. If it is the same it will fit.

I had the same thing happen also was your car sitting at all? I filled mine up and gas came running out I will next time see if I should wait after i take off the gas cap. I could be due to vapors

on the alldatadiy.com it only allows you to use it for one car if you use others then you have to add them for a fee.

I have a stillen pop charger that i used for my Z i took it off. Looking at the design I looks similar to te mmr charger. Has any one tryed it out? If not I am going to and will post pics and inform u all.

Most places offer them separatley but anyone know of any sites that sell these components as a kit?
