  1. I've had this problem before myself. Use GooGone in the spray bottle and spray a little around the button and press the bottons repeatedly to get it to soak in. Eventualy it will unstick and be good as new. Just make sure NOT to use GoofOff, completely wrong stuff that comes in a metal container. GooGone is in a plastic container and completely harmless even on paint.

Hi, this process actually helped my problem. thanks. The buttons are actually getting better each day.

  2. Can anyone help me with this problem. It was a Sprite actually that exploded in my car, i got everything cleaned out but the buttons of course are sticky. What is the best way to unstick the buttons as much as possible. I am willing to pay for someone to unstick the buttons. Are there any place i can take my car where they can help me with this problem? Please help. Thanks

    which buttons exactly? :o

the buttons to open and close the moonroof. it is accessible in the day time but when the car cools off in the evening the buttons sticks real hard. hope you can help.

  4. I would post this question in the detailing forum and ask the proffesional detailers that frequent our forums for an answer on this. If you want I can move this topic there as it really should be in there anyway.

Can you move it to that section, and btw where is that section on this site.

  6. It works on the 08 IS 350. I just did it.

    1) open the car door, get in and close the door, pull the seat belt around and hold it without clicking it home.

    2) hit the start button twice with foot off the brake.

    3) right away depress the odometer reset button and hold for 10-30 seconds.

    4) click home the seat belt. the on off toggle thing comes up on the odometer. select off. wait for the odometer to set. turn the car off.

I could not get this to work on my 09 is250. HELP!!!

i presed the start button with out my foot on the brake twice

then i pressed the odometer reset button for over 30 sec. Do actually press it twice? cause you said depress then hold for 10-30 sec.

then i clicked the seat belt in while i keep holding the odometer reset button? or do i let go then click the seat belt in?

  7. I recently went into my car and looked up and saw stains all over the moonroof cover on the inside. Also some squirts of stains on the ceiling and sides. At first i thought a drink had exploded in my car but there was no soda can to be found. Also it's mysterious the places the stains are at. No stains on the window or on my seats. The buttons in my car are sticky now, esp the ones where you press to open and close the moonroof. Can anyone help? or have encountered similar problems? Thanks
