I need to know load limits for 2006 rx400h rooftop rack. How durable these factory racks are. Will I be able to place cargo on roof between rails or is cargo required to be distributed between rails

I have a 2001 rx300, my research indicates that I should replace the timing belt and at the same time replace the water pump. What should I excpect to pay at a non-dealer shop. What are they likely to replace besides these major components. How do I know if these really need replaced. How will I know if I take it to some shop and they perform this service unneccesarily :(

I was quoted $745 for timing belt and water pump replacement on a 100,000mi. 01rx300, is this reasonable and how will they detemine if the belt needs replaced, thanks for feedback

looking for a reputable, reliable, and reasonable shop in las vegas for my 01rx300, need possible timing belt and other associated components for replacement on this auto that has just turned 100,000mi young. I understand through this very helpful and confident forum that these repairs or preventive maintenance is recommended. I also would appreciate any dollar amounts that would be exspected to perform these operations on my baby, thank you and can someone close the oven, its hot out there!
