I am looking for any and all recommendations for new tires for an '05 ES 330. It has 75k miles, mostly highway, and that will continue. Preference is for non directional tires with long tread life.

I have seen posts regarding peeling paint on the side view mirror mounting posts, but they have all been about late '90's models. I have a 2005 ES 330 and am having this problem. Any one experience something similar? Any ideas on cost to get it fixed?

I have seen some posts from folks who have had peeling paint problems, but they appear to be back from 2004. My 2005 ES 330 with ~73k miles is suffering from this issue. The passenger side mirror is worse, but the driver side is starting to peel. Has anyone had this problem with a newer Lexus, 2003 etc? If so what have you been able to find out from your dealer or Lexus about the cause?
