ya actually i replaced them and went with the H&R/KYB and i like the stiff feel on the roads but it still feels like it floats over those really horrible roads (like to school every morning -_- )

My 91 LS400 has 98,623 miles on it and from what i heard from the original owners the other day they said it still drives like the first day they bought it, absolutely perfect! B)

Ya my dads BMW locks like that and its incredibly annoying and difficult to get it unlocked. But the 91 Lexus doesn't have that feature...wonder when it was introduced to the LS400s

lol no my battery is dead for sure its almost 18 years old. i didn't know by taking out the battery will clear any saved programs on the circut board in the key. but at this point i shouldn't even worry because its dead anyway so really dosen't matter if i take it out or leave it in. but it is going to be reprogramed once i put in a new battery correct?

ya i wondering if it still has to be like reprogrammed to the car (im not sure how it totally works) but that was like my original question sorry for not explaining thoroughly

lol its a lexus haha im used to it looking easy and it being oh wait theres this you had to do too or now it dosen't work. i didn't now if they had some special battery or i could just go out and get a regular almost watch battery for it without !Removed! it up.

alright as i was driving i noticed that my trac light has come on. I haven't been driving it hard but just casual it comes on. i saw a thread back in 2003 bout this but nothin more recent. should i take it a dealer to look at or is it something not to worry about for now.

haha yes im thinking future as in when my paychecks come in and i actually have money to spend :D

it's only a 3 step process.

1. Grow a pair (might be hard)

2. Get under the rear of your Lexus and locate them nuts.

3. Use some elbow grease and get them suckers off along with the rubber 'donut' holding them on.

Easier than playing with some pie ;)

ya i took it off already didn't know if it was like the expiditions where i needed a jack because it was bent weirdly around the wheel.

it sounds really really deep without the muffler on... highflow muffler soon mayb?

he i was wondering seeing how most batterys are proboly dieing by now but has anyone replaced the battery in the key for the eletric door locks so i don't have to either unlock it old school or spend $$$ taking it to lexus ( seeing how its pretty silly to spend that much on replacing a battery)

unless you cant find a short. The wires in the trunk always get cut and crossed. i rewrapped the wires with black electrical tape were the joints hold the trunk open. try looking for some of the easy wires and trace them. if not you might need a tow :(

ya it could just be a loud fan or something. if nothings dieing or battery running low or anything i wouldn't worry bout it. is the car acting abnormal or has it felt the same just the noise
