Hi Fellow Lexus owners,

I have a 1998 Lexus GS 300 and unfortunately my wafer shaped hard disk to my navigation system was stolen awhile back. The disk drive is still in place but no disk!! The dealer will sell me a disk but wants the my old core or there is a hefty charge. Do you know where i can get just the disk to make the navigation complete? I know the last update was in 2004 but I still want to have it just in case. I have had no luck in junkyards or independent parts dealers. Help!!!!

Look on Ebay or Craigslist, there was some dude had an update for $100...

Yeah someone on this forum has a step by step with pics.... Keep looking you have to remove the back part of the back seat and the two side panels on the back above but behind the back seat and then you slide the whole back deck lid, do not try to remove that screen it on their permanant...

Does anyone know how many watts the Mark Levinson 10" sub is? I need to replace it. It blew out and I don't want to buy the original, I would like to just put an aftermarket sub. Does anyone have any recommendations on any subs that the Mark Levinson amp will push? Does anyone know how many watts the ML amp is?

Hey fellas i have a 2002 GS 300 and have found out its the master window switch is going out, I took it out myself it was pretty easy, now the problem is to buy a new one and am trying to avoid the dealer $497.00 i saw a few on ebay for 150.00, 185.00 any one else know any websites that might have them.. I dont care if thier used as long as it works...

Hey what up, does anyone know how many amps a 2002 GS 300 have? I know of one in the trunk under the navi ECU.. Is there another one I've seen something about one being in the glove box?

Hi everyone, I just got a 2002 gs300 and loving it. I'll post pics when I fix the camera on my iPhone. You guys have been so helpful in picking and knowing what to look for. My problem is that I have mark levinson navigation system and when I put the map disk it gives me the unable to read error. I've read all things to do to fix that so I'll do that another time. But mainly the thing is on reading about this model it's says it plays DVD on the screen. My question is can it really play DVD movies.

Hey whats up dude.. I had the same problem what I did is I disconnected the power cord from the ecu in the trunk, waited a few minutes and reconnected, I guess it just needed the navi's computer to reset.. It came right on.. Your also suppose to leave the DVD in there.... Good Luck dude..

What's up fellas my window is starting to get stuck in the down position and I'm not useing it anymore cuz i dont want to take any chances... I need to know how to remove the switch so that I can clean the switch with an electrical connector cleaner first. Before I switch the motor or master switch.. I have an 02 gs300.... Do I have to take the door panel off and if I do how... Does anyone have any how to links I can check out??
