You can buy it by itself without the tracks

Thanks - will look for just the sunroof glass then. I saw a post for instructions on removal of glass on a 92 LS400. Hopefully it should be the same for the 96 model.

Does anyone know if I can change the glass itself on the 96 ls400 sunroof or do I have to change the whole assembly. The glass shattered all of a sudden-!!

If someone has instructions on glass or assembly removal, I will really appreciate it. I plan to buy the glass or unit from a junkyard.
