I have a 2005 RX 330 with 28,000 miles on it that needs new tires. I'd like something that rides as smoothly as the 235/55-18 Goodyear Eagle RS-A (UTQG: 260 A A) tires it came with, but that has a better treadwear than those Eagles had.

I see that I could use the Michelin Energy MXV4 S8 tires (UTQG: 440 A A) for about $20 more per tire. Ought to get more than 28,000 miles from those based on the UTQG ratings. What about the ride?

Any suggestions?

I got 60,000 miles with Michelin Energy's and would recommend them anytime.

the front wipers, when used on high (out of the automatic position) move no faster than the medium speed. this happened during an extremely heavy downpour. has anyone experienced this on their car?

I am having the same pronblem and the dealer is telling me the wipers are working to standard, Did you ever get this problem fixed?

Just had my '04 in for its 30K mile service and told the dealer she had noticed condensation in the headlight once. The dealer said "that's covered under warranty" and replaced it.

I had this problem with one head light and Lexus replaced both on my 04, no questions asked.

I would like thoughts on the P&G Mr. Clean Auto Dry Car Wash System. I have not used it on my just purchased 98 Lexus GS 400 but have used it on my black 2000 Toyota Sienna XLE with remarkable results. For those not familiar with it, as I understand it the system has a filter that de-ionizes water after the final rinse (by way of a selector switch) that allows the water to run off without spotting. It had a great review in the WSJ so I tried it and it worked as promised.

I have been in awe of the level of technkical expertise on this forum and would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks

Used the system on my RX330 and it worked great. No more drying windows which always scratched the glass.

:cries: I ran a dry towel over the dash of my rx330 and it left marks/scratches across the dash. Has anyone had this problem and is there a solution without replacing the dash?
