How do you program the Homelink if you do not have the hand held remote?

Does your garage door have the "LEARN" function on the back of it?

If all else fails, the manufacturer's website was actually quite helpful.

You need to get the factory HID headlights for the 01-03 Rx300's.

If you were to install a "kit" into your present headlights, you'd have tremendous amounts of glare and not much light on the road. Xenon bulbs are designed differently than halogen bulbs, and the focal points will be different.

Hi everyone,

First I'd like to say I'm new to the forums and new to Lexus in general. My family has passed on their old 1999 RX 300 to me and I am interested in upgrading the headlights to HIDs.

Are there any kits you guys can recommend that you have personally used, tested, and works completely? I've searched around on Ebay as well as some of the retailers (ie: Lextasy) and I'm not sure what to trust online.

There are mechanics in my area willing to install the kits for around $400-$500, and I don't even know what products they'll be using, so I'd rather do it myself.

Any feedback or recommendations would be good.

I think my next quest would be to update the sound system (the center console) or the tail lights.
