replaced alternator on GS300 94. Is a bit of a job. Few tips. Will need an extension bar on the 14mm tensioner to loosen the belt. Alternator comes out the top. I couldn't get it out the bottom. No need to disconnect the transmission hose to try and get it out the bottom. Take off the plastic air manafold that goes to the airfilter, will give you more room at the top.
