  1. There are several very similar products made by Several major oil companies which match or exceed the performance of AHC in industry standard qualification tests. We are developing a list of such product and plan to complete that this month.

Where is the list you promised over 3 months ago?

  2. How long do you think I can keep the 2004 LX going? It seems great so far!!

    400K miles with normal service.

2000 LX purchased new. 167,000 miles and running like a sewing machine and looks new. Only problems over the years have been the antenna stopped working twice, a mirror needed fixing, and an exhaust leak which was fixed under warranty. I had the 90,000 mile service at Lexus which included the timing belt and water pump. It was very expensive.

Biggest problem....Lexus Dealers rip off their customers when it comes to repair. Also, in my area, the work is sloppy. I avoid them whenever I can.

  3. I just bought a 2006 Lexus RX 400h AWD. It did not come with navigation system or Mark Levin audio.

Can you suggest how can I get one installed? Should I go to a dealer? Should I go OEM?

Are there better systems available for lower price than Lexus installed systems?

    Thanks in advance.

Get the Garmin or other portable. The Lexus NAV system is a piece of junk and a big rip off!!!
  4. Hi so ironic story.. I had spent all my time researching tires and decided on the Pilot A/s Plus... we drove from San Diego to O.C. ..and had a flat.. I was just about to buy them on Tire Rack last week.. many phone calls later ,by the side of the road, we were able to limp to someone.. who luckily had two of just what I wanted... anyway so now were thinking.. we do not have run flats.. and no spare tire.. what does anyone else do.. besides have triple A.. Also does anyone purchase the road hazrd waranites from Discount tire? Is it worth it? they are putting the last two on..
I don't use a spare. I have a 12 volt pump and a screw in type puncture fixer, where you just insert rubber plugs into any puncture hole, which will get me up and running in just a few minutes. Of course, it will not work if you have a blow out, but with modern tires, this is unlikely. I also have AAA just in case.

I hated the run flats and got rid of them as soon as they wore out at 18,000 miles. I have tried several different tires on my 2002 which I bought in 2001. I now have BF Goodriches and they are quiet and corner well, and I am very happy with them. Also, the price is right.
