Yup, i got 4K off invoice as well (it was about 12K+ off MSRP). I purchased in October.

it should still be posssible for 08 models.

I just replaced my new 08 LS460's 18" stock wheels/tires with 20" Wald P11F wheels w/ Pirelli Pzero Nero 245/275 tires. I love the cool wheels but the tires are too noisy. Does anyone know which tires are best w/ my 20" Wald wheels if I want to keep the Lexus-like quiet and comfort ride?

I don't mean to off topic, do you have pics of your LS? i am also looking for 20" Wald Portifino with the same tire spec. did you have to lower the car? really interested in seeing how yours look like.
