  1. honestly i am a MECP Certified mobile electronics tech. A 5 wire set up is where you reverse the polarity basicaly. a good source for relay diagrams is www.the12volt.com : Caution though: i thought the antenna mast would have a threshhold and then shut off but it did not. i almost burnt up the motor. do not try to direct wire the mast with these relays with out a timed shutoff of some sort. Personally i have sirius satelite radio and figured i did not need my mast antenna any ways so i stopped my search to make it work. good luck and please keep me up to date

  2. its an alternating current functioning switch. you need 2 relays and look up wiring diagram for what is called 5 wire. it is common in door locks. the only thing i haven't found is a limitation switch or threshhold switch. this keeps the antenna from staying on all the time.

  3. with out a doubt i will be getting pictures and videos. my sc is a stock soarer setup right now. i am running it for the first time solely because i am about to put my t67 turbo on with front mount and want to see the difference. i know the porsche is roughly 600whp awd and the evo is upwards of mid 400's

Although I am not near you, it would be interesting to see that GN face off agains some imports.

Especially a 300 with a turbo! I can only imagine what those machines are like.

What's the specs on the GN and your 300?

Will you be getting pics or video?

  4. Is there any one going to import face off in Ennis Texas this Sunday. Im going to have my Lexus there and I have an Evo Porsche Turbo, Supercharged GTI, and maybe a Grand National going out there with me. If any one would like to meet up on the way let me know

  5. I have a 1jz swap in mine. purchased the whole front clip of a soarer. every thing bolts up for the most part. you cant even tell mine is running. no dependability or drive ability issues what so ever. just a thought for you

    good luck on your endeavors

Hi. I looked and read around and I got a little confuse to the load of info so I figure why not just ask. Sorry if I'm asking a question already answered somewhere in this forum.

I got 94 SC300 2jzge all stock except flow master exhaust. 160k mi with a blown head gasket and it won't start probably due to the starter.

My goal is to get a reliable car with power when it is needed (300 - 500hp).

    1. Is it worth it do a full engine swap (2jzgte or 2jzgtte)

    2. What year engine should I swap at the cheapest?

    3. Is it cheaper to swap only the head and modify the internals and add a turbo kit?

    4. What supra year engine head would best fit if I go that way?

    Thank you for your time.
