Unfortunately your car is out of the 4 year 50k mile original warranty so you can't buy a Lexus new car Platinum warranty. You can buy warranties, but they'll be aftermarket...

Thanks Steve, the "4 year" qualifier certainly puts this one out of eligibility.

You can buy a better Lexus factory warranty on any Lexus under 50k miles up to 100,000 miles for $1500.

I have a '97 ES 300 with 43,000 miles, would this be an advisable/viable option for me?
