  1. REMEMBER I HAVE AN INTAKE WITH A NEW TUNE UP AND YOU HAVE TO RESET THE ECU BY DISCONNECTING THE POS. WIRE FOR 30. SEC. THEN YOU WILL FEEL THE DIFFERENCE. UNDER STAND THE IS300 HAVE TWO HEADER WITH A CAT ON EACH ONE THAT COMES DOWN INTO A Y PIPE THATS WHERE THE OTHER CAT SITS. THEN IT GOES THREW THE SILENCER TO THE MUFFLER. ONCE YOU CAN GIVE THE VEICLE BREATHING ROOM IT FLOWS SMOOTHLY. DEALING WITH EXHUAST YOU NEED A LITTLE BACK UP PRESSURE. THE VEHICLE BREATHS BETTER WHICH MEANS EASLY COMES IN IT CAN EASLY GO OUT. IT WORKS!

  2. i'm in the army, i'm a welder. i purchased a muffler off of ebay for 8 bucks. cheap ya does it work hell ya. i took out the third cat and silencer. 36lbs in weight. i replaced them with straight pipe. the total pipe including muffler weighs 20lbs. welk i'm i tell you it the best sound i've heard. i also have and intake on this. all together 43hps gained dyno tested. the tech stated the balance is perfect. and you can feel it. give you good take off. i also had it smogged which it passed, and emmissioned, passed. you still have two cat. near the engine. remember lexus is a low emission vehicle a lot of restriction on it. takt the restrictions away. pure jap horses .
  3. that happens, its the way the computer control the transmission shift. just think the with the e-shift you control when it goes to the next gear, lexus is known for smoothness so this isn't perfected yet. what i do to handle this porblem is put the e-shift on 3 the car will atuomatically go to 3rd and no further. then you choose when to change gears. oh yea third is a great power gear for this vehicl B) e it helps when street racing.

  4. another way to check is the alignment was done right is when you drive at 50-60 des your stirring wheel vibrate. and at 80 this is an alignment problem. just 40 bucks i had done and no more vibration. also when you rollings at under 5mph you feel the car shift from left to right

  5. i'm in lawenforcement a salvage car can be a good buy if you want to go through the process and the paper work. you will need a state inspection and all the other nspections that your state require you will also need form the prior owner the reciepts of the replaced parts with price and vin numbers. in other words if they fixed you need proof from them for registration. you have to prove the vehicel is ready for the road
