Hello,

I have an es300

The cigarette lighter is no longer working and it is not the fuse.

I would like to remove the holder itself (the piece that you press and it exposes the lighter and ashtray)

Could someone give me a hint / instructions on how to remove that so i can access the backside of the lighter socket and replace it?

My son at college has my old 97 es300.

Snowed for the first time and he tried to open the drivers door and the handle broke.

does anyone know of a resource to find used door handles? I would like to get one from a wrecker cause then it will be painted. New ones are cheap, but the replacement ones i found on the web where black and unpainted .

I think i am going to attempt to replace my value cover gaskets myself on a 97 es300. The labour to do it is $400.

Has anyone done these themselves. I guess the tough one is the one close to the firewall

Any hints or gotchas?

Do i need any weird tools?
