  1. There's a guy in Houston that repairs Lexus radios, instrument panels, etc. including the Nakamichi. He does excellent work at a very reaonable prices. I used him once for a blown speaker. The dealer wanted $600 - he did it for $150. My instrument cluster blacked out a while back and he fixed it good as new for $150.

    Here's the contact info:

  2. Hey guys, I recently bought another 91 LS400 after selling my old one to someone who plans to fix it up. I was surprised, my new LS is in close to mind condition and you can tell its well taken car of since everything works. The only issue I'm having is this random light comes on when it feels like, its located right across from the engine check light and I'm not exactly sure what it means. I've Googled it a dozen times and and no one has any information it, so I drew it in MS Paint in case anyone knows what it means and how to get ride of it.

That's the icon for a burned out tail light. If it's not the bulb, check the wiring harness where it enters the trunk area (drivers side near the trunk hinge).

  3. I bought my '93 LS400 brand new in December of 1992. Now, 17 1/2 years later it has 263,000 mile, and it still looks and runs as good as the day I got it. It's always garaged at night and all scheduled maintenance has been performed only by the Lexus dealer. It's never left me stranded and it's never had any major problems. Other than scheduled maintenance, it's only required a few minor things like the water pump and power steering pump. Even today, when people get in my car they compliment it saying, "wow, nice car... what year is this?" When I tell them the year and mileage, they almost have a heart attack.
