My 08's chime I had turned off. I marked off the options I wanted and they made the changes at the 1k service.

When I bought my car and had mine installed at Lexus they gave me the option of glovebox or center console. Advantage of glovebox is you can lock it.

Yes, as part of the 1000 mile service they will adjust your personalized settings including this. I made mine as sensitive as possible so the lights come on when it gets cloudy or rainy. I've never seen it switch back and forth like your describing. It seems to work well.

My OE tires on my 2006 Avalon that I traded for this Lexus lasted to 75000. And no they were not bald or dangerous yet.

Congrats and enjoy the car. I've had mine for six weeks and love it. Oh the paint is really soft. If I had it to do over again I would have added the clear bra. Bug chips already in the paint and only six weeks old.

I'd run, not walk for that deal. 3K under invoice. No where near those kinds of deals in Texas.

I picked up my ES 1 month ago and had the XM installed no problem. XM is not going away and in fact is now adding some of the Sirius stations to its lineup. Of course I paid like $595 so I would take a delay if it was free.

Okay. My daughter just got the LG Vue for her birthday, so just for you I tried it with my car. It does connect easily. The information for the strength of connection and battery strength does not show properly on the display however. The display shows 0 for each despite the phone being full on each. I also could not transfer any of the the phone book data to the car successfully. The phone I use (Palm 755p) on the other hand works great once you get past some initial goofiness with the connection.

Also note I only tried it for about ten minutes. Longer effort may payoff more.
