I am currently in the market for RX350. Should I go for 2010 or 2011? Is there any special incentive or lease program going on these two year models? Also, any recommendations for dealer in Southern California?

I am thinking to order a 2007 Rx (need AWD but could not find one from the dealer) and would like to know when will be the last day to place an order? Also, when will be the best time (month) to lease a Lexus? I recall they got some promotions last year but I forgot which month.

Hello all,

I was reading some foreign auto magazine and I realize the the 07 Harrier (RX japanese verison) comes with the Smart Access. Really not sure why our US vesion doesn't come with it all, I was hopping at least Lexus USA will offer it as an option. The new IS has it, the FX has it, really want to have one on the new RX.

I am interested in the AWD version of the RX330 and wonder is it a true AWD (like ML and X5) or just FWD most of the time (like MDX).

Will the 2006/2007 RX 350 come with the Smart Acess (engine start button) like the new GS and IS?

Also, any words on the Nav? I am hoping Lexus can provide some 'real time' traffic Nav. like the new Acura RL.

Niether the new GS300 nor the IS have 280hp...

There are rumors floating around saying that the new IS 3XX will be using the 3.5 V6 engine from Avalon. Don't count me on that, I am not a 100% sure either.

I wouldnt expect it to have 280hp, that would be in RX400h territory. If it gets the 3.5, it'll be detuned.

Yeah, I know I am thinking too postive. But with the new ML350 (268hp) and the current FX35 (280hp), it will be nice if Lexus bring us a more powerful engine. Not to mention the upcoming Audi Q7 and SAAB 97X.

Come on Lexus! Bring us all the good stuff you have done to new GS and IS.

The RX is suppose to come out with the 3.5 engine in March of 2006.  Facelifts are usaually every 5 years on the Lexus cars.

Yes, I know it usually takes 5 years to change the body style but I am thinking about mid life facelift. The old RX came out in 99 and got a facelift in 2001 before they completely redesign in 2004.

Does anyone know when will RX get a facelift? 2006 or 2007? Will it come with the new engine start buttom like the new IS/GS, 6 speed transmission and possibly a new 3.5 V6 engine?

There have been rumors saying that the 2005 RX will come with a smart key system similar to the one in LS. Could anyone confirmed that? I checked on www.lexus.com but unfortunately, I did not fin anything.
