I am from the deptford area. Thanks for your replies! If I do shocks what brands do you suggest? Where is your boys shop?
Complete opposite side of the state in Fort Lee, sorry

What part of NJ you from? My boy has a shop and charges 200 for a spring install. Will take him about an hour tops

10-15 if I remember correctly but you will need a tune but just throwing them without forced induction will not do anythiing it will be even less of a gain.

kleen... what size wheels are you rockin tsv?
20x9 +30 F
20x10.5 +29 R
Next set up i'm gonna do 19x9 +20 F 19x10.5 +25 R
DAMN YO!!! i was told 20x10 wouldnt even fit my ride not even 19X10>???? im lowered you think i could do 19x10?!?!?
Yes i'm on tein ss coilovers , your drop all depends on your wheel offsets and tire size. If I wanted to stretch my tires by putting 235's up front and 245's in the rear instead of the 245 up front and 255 in the rear I could of tucked these wheels.

just bought my 93 sc300 and i'm gonna turbo it, is it worth it to swap the tranny or a manual , and if so how much will it cost me average
It all depends on how much you plan on boosting, the trannys can hold pretty good up to 350-400 hp. Not easy finding the parts but if you do just parts alone will cost a grip.

This is a very tame forum i mean its cool for your average joe but im into jdm spec and this is kind of bland for my taste does any one know of a real enthusiast forum more leaning towards the aristo instead of gs300?
Here are classic examples of what i mean.

hey people i have a question on the turbo i am new to lexus and i was wondering what is a good turbo size, how much psi, and what type of fuel tuning is required. is the a point that i dont need to tune to for example below 8 psi or do you have to tune after install thanks
Well you can get the XSPower kit and use a Apexi Neo and still use your stock ecu and injectors but need a boost controller to keep you under wraps to about 7psi...The SRT kit is a complete kit that has everything you need included alot of IS guys run the SRT kit
-
You need to find the offsets of your wheels which is on the inside of your rims and that will determine what size tires you can use.
-
XSPower makes a decent kit www.clubna-t.com , swift racing , pfc makes a good kit. or piece one together. I have the xspower but I'm gonna piece together a bigger turbo over the winter.

www.clubna-t.com This is the kit I have on mine . There is still alot I need to tweak but the kit is roughly 1600 bucks and is good for 550hp , you just need to upgrade some things here and there and is tons less than the swift racing kit.
