Just leased my first Lexus - the RX350 (Pebble Beach). I just couldn't get myself to spend the nearly $1000 that it would cost for the XM Radio (especially since it's not anything I can take with me at the end of the lease).
I'm looking into two options:
1. Mounting an XM somewhere near dashboard
2. Third Party install of XM (so it's integrated into audio system).
I know I can do the first and would love any recommendations of radios, where to mount, how it sounds compared to the integrated install, etc. Is the 2nd option and option? Any vendors out there who can install to the head unit and not charge $1000?
Any advice appreciated! Just left a lease of a Honda Accord and the XM just came standard with the NAV system - really surprised for such a nice car how XM isn't included (and a cassette player is still there!)
