:o - My wife has a 95 LS400 and the Battery was dead. I took it out and had it checked after the battery charge light came on once. The battery checked out to be bad so i replaced and she drove it to work the next morning and that afternoon it was dead again. I checked terminals and put battery grease on them. I am wondering if and how to check alternator since you can't do it the old fassion way by unhooking the hot terminal to see if it still runs. I need help.

hello everyone, I was wondering if any ony can help me. I have a 91 ls400 with 186k miles. I noticed when the car is running and I turn the key one knotch counterclock wise the engne stays running.. all the light in the dash goes out and I can hear the key alarm telling me that the key is in the ignition, but the engine stays running. I would have to turn it all the way off for the engine to go off. Now I'm having a fluctuation in my idle then the engine dies but when it cycle the key back and forth from on' to acc' repeatly(slowly), the engine stays running.. Could this be my ignition switch, a relay..? can someone help me out please. ? :( :(
