$500 is expensive but still cheap for what a dealer would charge for that sort of thing. You will be fine with an outside tech doing it. Just call Vais and im sure they can send you to a local vais dealer.

We have a subscription to Sirius. Dealer wants $500 to install system and have it integrated with our radio and nav screen system. Is $500 too much. Would it be ok to find an outside audio tech to do the job or does it require Lexus technicians? Your input will be appreciated.

Pop off the wood around the shifter and the wood panel with the cig lighter in it. There are four 10mm bolts holding the radio in place. Two on the bottom and two on each side hidden.

Check out Vaistech.com. I am a dealer in the NY area and service four lexus dealers with these units. They are very reliable and both work off of the nav screen.

Enjoying our RX 400h but looking for XM and Ipod integration installed by dealer or authorized by dealer/manufacturer. Looking to do both at once and would like seemless control of XM through ML sound system and control of Ipod sound through ML sound system or the IPod inself.

Any suggestions from satisfied customers??
