Well pump doesn't budge what am I missing... Anyone have a walk through on how to remove this pump, any help is appreciated,thanks...

have you checked on the bolt thats located behind your psp pulley wheel!!look between the pulley wheel(the holes)there is a nut(15mm)that takes your pump off the bolt that holds part of your pump!there are 3 bolts and 1 nut!!! 2 bolts located in the back/2 in the front!1 by the pulley wheel and one just below!if that doesn't help you, please go to lexls.com/psp pump tutorial! it helps me out big time!!!!!

  3. Yes, you have the famous air control valve problem, I believe. Costs about 80 bucks, you can get it at Toyota or online. You can install it underneath without removing the pump. Lots of posts about the ACV here-do a search. Sure solved my disappearing power fluid problem. Good luck.

i have a question?i found a tutorial on lexls.com where i can do without the acv valve and replaced it with a screw(same size)with rtv silicone on the threads!will that solve my white smoke?disappearing fluid problems?? :(

  6. Welcome to the club. For future reference, one thing you'll find at the LOC - if you don't show an effort in searching for information (of which there is plenty) specific to your problem, you may not get much of a response. I was just looking at this thread recently, so it's still fresh in my memory:

  9. I want to replace the fan bracket myself on my 91 Lexus LS400, Can anyone tell me specifically what tools are needed and any diagrams or instructions for the "How to"? I'll settle for a list of tools and try and figure it out.

go to lexus dealership parts dept and get a printout of the fan assembly(fake water pump) there are five screws that hold this together and u have to take of the serpentine belt and the fan off also!it will take you about 2hrs!if you go to lexus to buy this it will run you close to 300.00!!!i had to but one from there besides going to the junkyard! :D :D :)
