This is a known problem which causes all manner of strangeness.It caused me much heartache til I found the problem. Maybe the repeated shorting at the harness forces the ECU to receive bad data, who knows? In any event, it's easy enough to check, and costs $0 to fix. It makes this smooth world class auto act like a balky misfiring lawn tractor with water in the tank. Try it.
