I never thought about the rear speakers, reason i wanted to tap behind the headunit because i heard its not a pure signal, the amp already had its way with it, if that makes sense. My friend wants to keep his stock radio because he does not want to attract attention, usually when people see a face off, they think system, and thats when they break into a car lol.
So yeah, we got all the stuff, i am doing the install on Sunday morning.
It will be a lot easier

Hi, new guy here, but not new to car audio. I am installing an after market amp on a 2003 Lexus GS300, and I wanted to know whats the best way to route the power wire? Also is there a tutorial guide on how to take the radio out so I can tap into the stock harness. If I get some help, or answers, I will take pics of the install, and post it back here for future use. My only concern is routing the power wire from the battery to the back, and tapping into the headunit to connect the line output converter.
BTW I am installing:
(2) 10" Pioneer Premier D4 subs (wired into 1 ohm)
(1) Hifonics TXi 1008D (1000rms @ 1 ohm)
(1) Kicker 4 Gauge Amp kit w/ RCA's and Speaker wire
(1) Dual 10" ported box, 2.5 cubic feet

Okay i got mostly everything installed, one problem though, i could not find the remote wire. The ones listed in post 2 did not match the harness i was looking at, right now its getting the constant 12v.
