  1. Come and go gremlins like that are almost always connection/corrosion problems. The deal with our cars is they have a LOT of wiring in them. Only thing to do is to pull it apart and start checking and cleaning connections.

    There is a small chance it is a bad wire, but don't bother to check for that until all the connectors have been gone over.

  2. Hm.

    Only thing I can suggest is to take the motor off, manually push the window all the way up, and then put the motor back on. This would at least be a place to start to see if the problem is with the motor. If you can't push the window all the way up, then the problem is with the window itself. Check to see if the back edge is properly mounted - if it's 1/2" off, there's your problem.

  3. Check wiring connections.

    If you have a volt meter or test light, check to see you're getting current where you should.

    There is a control module under the dash. This is probably the most expensive component in the system, so have it checked to make sure it is really dead before you go replacing it.
