  1. On occasion the radio in my '06 GS300 won't turn off. Sometimes it won't turn on using the on/off knob or by pressing any of the mode buttons on the radio face. It will turn on if I press the mode button on the steering wheel. Sometimes the CD will eject and I can only change mode with the steering wheel button. Any ideas?
  2. The windshield wipers on my '06 GS300 make a loud "slapping" noise every time they go to the down position. It is so annoying that I try to manually turn them on/off whenever possible. Is there some sort of stopper or brake of some kind that stops them from going all the way down? Does anyone else have this problem?
  3. You think I'd still need snow tires with AWD? My 1998 ES300 was FWD and pulled me through Southern Ontario snow without a slip for 4 years. Wouldn't the front drive part of AWD do the same thing?
  4. How is the AWD in snow? Will all season radials work ok? My previous RWD ('01 GS300) was awful without snow tires. I'm about to try my first winter with an '06 AWD GS300. I grew up driving RWD cars but the '01 GS300 was terrible in snow.
  5. Ending up buying a different 2006 GS300. 52,000 KM. Dark grey on black. Beautiful car. Now will do the Nav/Bluetooth mod, get some sort of MP3 player gizmo. Thanks for all of the responses. (I think I twisted my ankle running from that car with the ticking noise)
  6. I'm looking at buying a 2006 GS300 AWD. How do I know if the tires on it are run-flats?
  7. Not quite sure I understand. My 2006 GS300 has a screen in the dash but doesn't have the navigation feature. Do I need new hardware (ie a new screen) to add nav? Is it just a software fix?
  8. The dealer will want to sell you a car with nav from the factory, I have OEM navs for your 2006 if interested. Leave your email for details. Me too, please. ann.nonimus1@gmail.com
  9. After test driving a 2006 GS300 ( I currently own a 2001 GS300 ) I noticed a slight 'ticking' sound from the engine. Most notably from under the car. The mechanic tried to sell me that it was from the fuel injector, that it is larger because they added horsepower and therefore made this noise. Doesn't sound reasonable to me. Also, I didn't see any navigation feature on the in-dash screen. Is the nav functionality something that can be added? Thanks for any help/advice.
