Can anyone tell me the process as to how to replace the plugs and the wire. I asked a local shop and they said that on a lexus you have to tilt the engine in order to get to the last 3 plugs....
Mine is a 1995 ES300.
Thanks in advance
Hi Ajay: I also have a 95 es300 and wanted to change the plugs and wires. Did you get any info back about how to do this? Thanks.

Hello everyone. I'm a new member and I'm hoping to obtain some advice about upgrading my stock audio system. I have a 1995 300 es with the stock Pioneer Tape/Radio and a CD control for a changer. It does not now have a CD changer.
I would like to keep the tape option but would also like to add a CD and perhaps a Power Amp. I took a look at the unit today and don't see any pre-amp outs or CD imputs in the back. My questions:
1. Is it possible to get an indash CD/Tape Unit from a later Lexis model that will fit in the dash?
2. If not, is there a way of installing a CD player in the glove box as opposed to the trunk?
3. If I install a unit in the trunk, what type of wireing do I need?
B) 4. If I decide to just go aftermarket, do I need to replace all the wiring?
5. What would be your recom B) mendations?
Thanks so much. I look forward to chatting with the other members.

Overdrive Malfunction Es 300

I have a 1995 ES 300 and always keep the Overdrive switch to the ON position. However, during the last 6 months the overdrive light on the dashboard periodically blinks on and off and the engine warning light comes on. Typically, the next day there is no longer a problem when I start the car.
Now the engine warning light is always on, regardless whether the overdrive light blinks on and off. I've had a dx run, and retrieve code # Po773 comes up -- transmission related problem. I'm told that this may be a faulty torque convertor solenoid or just a bad circuit. It doesn't seem to affect performance. However, I cannot re-new my registration with the engine warning light on. No one seems to be able to fix the problem.
Has any one had a similar problem? Any advice? Thanks!!!
