i recently change my brakes got new oem front pads and cut my rotors put everything back together . when i was taking the rotor off the hub i strippied the two small philips head screws so i had to drill them through. know i notice i have a cracking noise when braking at very low speeds not high speeds. What could this be are those bolts necessary ive heard yes and no ?

anyone have this problem . What should i go about doing ?

I use vinyl tint when tinting tail lights... just your basic tinting tools are needed, heat gun, squeegy, razor blades ect.

Def go with tint i did mine myself it took a few trial and errors lol but i will have new picks up soon so u can check them out i made mine all red you just have to manipulate the tint when you heat it and squeegy it real nice =)

I took a new video of a car, but it was a cold start right in front of my closed garage so all you could hear was basically engine noise...the X-pipe quieted her down substantially but I still love it..

I will shoot some new footage tomorrow

The car sounds great man with wheels i would go with 19s or 20s

i have 20s on my car staggered they look real nice know im looking to get a cup kit found some gabriel shocks online and thinking of the tanabe springs .

Thanks for you wisdom and experience; I'm hoping you can help here.

I have a '96 LS400 and when I apply the brakes, the car feels like someone is rapidly slamming a baseball bat back and forth between the front tires. I was told that this is a rotor problem, but I'm also concerned because when I hit one of the many Metro Detroit potholes I get a loud and heavy thud. It feels like the car has fallen off I-75 and landed on the street below. Surprisingly, I don't feel any shaking in the steering wheel, but there is great disturbance in the brake pedal. Any suggestions?

Update: BTW, I posted a concern a few months back regarding my power steering and air conditioning going out. I went under the hood and found it was a belt that had dried up, shredded, and choked itself around the fan blade and spoke.

Took a half hour to strip away the wired mess and only 10 minutes to replace the new belt! Easy fix.

change out the rotors and pads and the potholes most likely tore ur shocks apart replace those and u should be fine

hey i have a 95 ls have the same problem took it to the dealer they said it was the pump so thats my problem

and also the oil pan gasket leaks so could be either the pump is kinda pricy. i put some lucas oil into the resevoir and it stopped the leak thts for the time being u could do that but that has to be replaced will eventually lead to further problems

so i foun out where my car was leaking oil as i was changing my fog light bulbs i noticed the leak was coming from my power stearing pump.

i dont know if i should replace it or what i poured some lucas powersteering fluid to stop the leak for know seems to be working any suggestions.

o and i am lookin for yellow jdm bulbs to put in my fog lights besides Nokya because they burn your wire harness. Ive seen the 92 or 93 model with yellow are those factory and will they fit in my 95 ?

As a rule.. normaly if you take it to a quick lube place the boys rip the "seal" on the bolt at the oil change. Sometimes they strip the thread. Why it's called a "quickie" Check there first and if not, the other replies are of concern.

Im gonna try and take some pictures for you guys to look at sometime this week and then well go from there i have a buddy that works at lexus he can take it in for me but i dont want to pay alot for somthin i can fix myself

on the other hand my smoked bumper markers are comin in sometime this week and my passenger side corner lamp. My original one was leaking water seal must of broken.

so i have a 95 ls4 and it has 146,000k just noticed that it started leaking oil a tad bit. its coming from around the oil pan. Anyone know what it can be i have been told a few things.

ive heard the same that the tranny mounts are easier to change but i still havent looked into it

im hopping changing the trans mount will do the trick then ill replace the motor mounts

So i recently purchased my 95 ls4 and it know has 145000 miles when i am driving at around 35 mph there is a studder when i let off the gas sort of jumps a lil this happens while reversing as well im thinking its the trans and or motor mounts ? has anyone had this problem.

I had my Diamond D3 amp and 2 Diamond D3 12" subs hooked up with a converter to my old 91 LS. It sounded great!

However I can't remember where they ran the wire from the battery. I had a shop do it cause I didn't feel like dealing with it, plus you have to remove the rear seats to get the wires to the trunk.

The blue wire was for my system, I think it ran somewhere in the right side of the engine bay, sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Maybe just take it to a car audio place and let them worry about it like I did! hahah

Looks good! I'd say get clear corners, and yellow fogs, blinkers, and parking lights. I LOOOOOOOVE MINE!!! haha!

Do you have a projector or anything in your HID setup? If not you probably aren't getting very good road coverage and are blinding everyone ahead of you.

This kid where I live got an HID kit in his old lifted Toyota truck....no projector or ANYTHING. It's so blinding it makes me so mad when I see him!!! lol

Actually i drove past a couple of my freinds and asked them if theyre blinding they said they arent at all and the visibility is great but i know it would probably be better with projectors where can i get projectors ? The clear Bumper lights im workin on

i have my Hids in also 10k i changed the corner bulbs to orange the clear looked ugly any other suggestions let me know!

So i want to put in a system that i had in my Volvo but i am having trouble finding a spot to run the power cable through the firewall. Does anyone have a photo or know where a good spot would be so i dont get any water coming through or anything of that nature?

Im gna run The system (two 12 Kicker CVRs in a nice Ported Box) to the stock radio with one of those converters.

hopefully it will sound ok im not expecting the same quality as with a aftermarket radio.

Have you checked to see if there is power going to the coils ? Dirty switches ? Did someone spill a coke or ?? on the switches ?

ya im sure the doc spilled coffee on it when he had it but how do i take apart the consol my volvo was simple n i dont wna break or scratch anything

Chances are you have an open heater circuit....meaning you will have to replace.

They may just be worn out. They don't last forever, although they do still work in my 92. Probably depends on how much the previous owner used them.

the previous owner was a doc so im sure he used them very frequently hopefully ill get em to work

your voltage is low , get your grounds checked as well as your battery and alternator putting out the proper voltage

that may be the case its got 144k on it still runs real smooth the only other problem is a slight jerk when i let off the gas around 35mph ? im thinking trans mount or motor mount ?
