I had to replace clutch on my Lexus IS300. When i was picking up a car i couldn't start it. Shop owner brought in a portable battery, connected to my battery and powered me up. Battery seems fine since then. All electrical functions are ok, except the entire Audio System, receiver and CD Player, are dead. No lights, no movement, pushing on/off button does nothing at all.
What could cause this ?
:(
How can this be fixed ?
:(
Please help...

thank you !
dcfish, an how exactly do you drive your car that your timing belt lasts so long ?
(if you don't mind me asking )
hi !i just crossed 90,000 miles mark, and dealership dude told me timing belt change is "recommended" at this time.
Is that true ?
How much time/miles do i have till timing belt really might fall apart ?
Is it another good 10,000 miles or should i replace it immediately ?
pls let me know what you think..
i kinda don't want to spend $900 if i don't really have to..
thank you
Depends how you drive the car, It is recommended @90k. If you drive normally you may have up to 30k left. I have the same motor in my GS and I had mine changed @around 110k and the belt looked great. Have the waterpump changed @ the same time, It will save you $ down the road.
