Hello Brother and Sister Lexus Owners. Just bought my first Lexus two days ago, a used 2001 GS300. I love it. I'm wanting too put a rear factor spoiler on it and found a company on e-bay that sells them already painted using BASF paint and clear coated with the led lights for $235.00 with shipping. Has anyone used or know of anyone using these people ? Thanks for any replies!

i say you just trade with soembody that has the spoiler so that you dont have to drill holes and have the chance of messing up

I can't seem to find the knob which allows you to lower or higher the "beep" sound when you lock/unlock the door with the remote. I have a 01 GS430 and my dad's 02 LS430 and wife's 02 ES300 are both located under the steering column and very easy to spot. Even sister's 01 LX470 ( I know I know, we are one big happy Lexus family) are within the same vicinity. Am I missing something with the GS430 or is it hidden behind the plastic covers somewhere? Thanks.

Can someone tell me why people are so concerned with adjusting the volume of this "beep?" There seems to be a new post about this topic every three days on this forum. A savvy forum member could probably use the Search function to find the answers he/she is looking for...:whistles:

Thinking about purchasing a used 2000 GS 300 Platinum series with 169,000 miles. When is the timing belt suppose to be changed? I was told by the owner that they did it at 120,000 miles. Isn't that a little late. I thought it was due at 90,000 miles. I was told that the next major service is due at 180,000miles. Is there a place where I can find out the maintenace schedules? I looked in the car manual, but could not find a schedule.

The car is in very good condition. What do you think is a reasonable price?
