I have a 2002 ES300. I am going to tear into my rear brakes this weekend. I would like to see what I am getting into with the parking brake before I start. Once I tear it apart on Saturday my local Lexus dealer parts dept will not be opened. If anyone has a breakdown I would like to see it.

I recently purchased a 2002 ES300. It has just over 60k miles. I have noticed when I get in the car after it has been setting for a while, and I start to drive I hear a sound like a aluminum can pop or crackle. I have narrowed the sound to the ABS pump. Is this a normal sound or do I take it to dealer :cries:

Also, I'm sure its not but would this be covered under the factory powertrain warranty.

My wife has a 2000 RX300 AWD.  I drove it today and the driverside sunvisor will not stay up.  She uses it alot for the mirror.  Does anyone have a fix?????????

unless you change the hinge of the visor, sorry to say, it's just going to be like that. That's the same situation with my odyssey, in which i really don't mind about it. Also, if i can remember clearly, the visors of my 00 RX were kinda flimsy even when it was new. <_<

The dealer told me today that I have to buy a whole visor assy. $245 w/ garagedoor opener :cries:
