Does anyone know how to override the Navigation and Phone lockout when you are moving. I have an 04 LS430 just installed the upgraded software and the old override no longer works. Any options please

I installed it last night had some very slight enhancements like improved visibility to upcoming turns. The copy in the car when I bought is was 03 so not sure if 07 did it or some other version. In all nothing to brag about. The map has picked up the new roads I was looking for. you also loose the overide capability to use the NAV when you are driving

The nav unit is in the trunk floor on the right side under a panel held by a couple of push-pins. I am working from memory, but as I recall the opening for the DVD is on the left side of the box. There are a couple of fasteners on that side that you loosen so the box can be tilted up enough to access the loading slot. Once you have access, trun the ignition key to the position that turns on the radio/nav, etc. There is a slide switch next to the slot that you move to eject the old dvd. Slide the new one in, reposition the unit and tighten the fasteners. Put the cover back in place and you are ready to go! Thank you I found it no problem 10 minute deal. dealer wanted $100.00 to install after $275 to purchase. Brutal.

I got them from Lexus $275.00 not sure yet because I havent installed but was told it would upgrade maps and POI on the GPS restraunts etc.. will comment more once I get to play with it

I am a new member and just purchased the new GPS disks for my 04 LS430. Can anyone provide me directions for the install? Also any problems or enhancements I should be aware of? Thanks
