cosc400, These links may assist, with your issue.
Does all the info for the ls400 apply to a sc400?
Is it safe to assume that most likely the TRAC accuator will need to be replaced if that light is on? So around $800? Thanks.

The car drives great. It has 127,000 miles. It does have the TRAC light on in the dash. What does this mean? It leaks a little oil from what looks like the transmision. However, the guy had a shop check the transmision and they say that is not causing the leak. It looks like engine oil. Where is a common place for them to leak? Could somone give me a good link to a site that would help in understanding buying an SC400? Thanks.
Noob Here Looking At 92 Sc400 To Buy

It is a 92 sc400 with 127,000 miles on it. The engine looks clean, however it drips oil from what looks like the transmision pan. However it is not trany fluid because the trany is full and it is black in color. On the dash the TRAC light is on. What does this mean? Also it needs new front struts. Is this car worth it? How much money could I look at puting into it? I don't want to put a whole lot into it. I can buy the car for 2,100. Thanks for helping me out.
