just want to cover the scratches on the center air bag/steering wheel. They are not terrible but the monkey cover does not exude the luxus "spirit" if you will.

BTW im eventualy going to put the AVICD 3 poineer in it, but for now only wish to get the original one up and running until I can get the plush system going.

I have been working the kinks out of my almost new lexus is 300 w/60k on it and it is mint condition on the inside minus a few minor flaws (like the drivers side airbag etc.) ,but the radio will not even come on right now. I had my body man say they must be re programed. What is this and how do I go about doing it? And if you fellas know how much does it usualy cost?

Does anyone know if you must buy an XM radio and /or sirius reciever to ppick up their type of radio ? And if so what if you already have a stileto model sirius? how would you make the stileto work with the avicd3?

I have a few scratches in the center steering wheel piece (the horn/airbag) and was curious if anyone knows of a cover for this item on the aftermarket?

Hey everyone. Just have a few newby ?'s about the IS300. I have an '05 Altima 3.5 se auto right now that was fun when I bought it 2 yrs ago but the TQ steer and crappy handling is finally starting to get to me. Don't get me wrong, it makes good power both on and off the highway but I just can't see myself spending any money on upgrades for a car that is FWD, has no leather, sunroof etc. I am looking for a RWD sedan that I can upgrade over time and get some good reliable HP and superior handling and I think the IS300 is just that. I'm not to worried about reliability, but is their a certain year that is prone to more problems? I will probably be going to test drive a few within the next couple of days, so is their any things I should look out for other than the obvious? If I am wrong about the IS300 being a good platform to start with please let me know. Also, please lead me on to some good upgrades to start with. Thank you in advance.

[leedobert ill make you a heck of a deal on mine. its a 2001 is 300 in DWP diamond white pearl. has 62k and every oil change record as well as the tire rotation records. it has slight front end damge and NO frame damage and i have almost everything to fix it. ill do you way better than those prices and mine is spotless on the inside and still smells new. it has been in my garrage waiting for me to have the time to fix it....car is in awesome shape and has most everything it needs....only prob is im in Kentucky!

So I'm looking for an IS300 to keep my Tacoma 4x4 company. I know I want a manual trans and the LSD. Does anyone know how to determine if a car's got the LSD by looking at the VIN or are there other signs to look for? Most of the salespeople I've talked to don't know that the car can be had with a 5 speed much less if it has LSD. Is there a site that gives the differences from year to year and what kind of problem areas to look for? I've owned Toyotas my whole driving life and know how reliable they are but I also know they have their quirks. Any help would be great.

Ill sell you mine . It has 62,000k on it w/suade heated seats, moonroof, 5 speed (auto tho) and is in great shape with every oil change record and tire rotation record. Purchased from Lexus of Lexington,Ky.1 owner . This car has minor front end damage and no frame damage. Id give it to you right!!!

Hey fellas, Im just a red neck thats replacing the fron end of a 2001 is300 and just want a solid factory look with the clean looking zenon lights (hed & fog) ...where is the best place to round up that and a new hood (factory or fiberglass with no scoops) for a good price. this ride is tight and the pearl white with suade seats, moon roof etc are going to be off the chain...whats the best radio up grade to fit flush?

And one more ? for you experts....does the drivers side headlight support cost mucho denero?
