I am thinking of changing my plugs in the near future with the NGK iridium plugs and wanted to find out if there is anything out of the ordinary I need to know beforehand.

Outside of taking off the Plastic Engine cover, is there anything else that needs to be removed to access the plugs?

I understand this engine does not utilize traditional type spark plug wires, I haven't done this type before, I have replaced plugs in the past on other cars but haven't seen this type of setup before. to remove the covers on the plugs is it as simple as just unscrewing the screws? Does anything other than the plugs themselves need to be replaced?

If anyone has a turorial on changing the plugs on a 2001-2006 LS430 please post the link.

I own a 2004 LS 430. The "Change A/C Filter" warning light came on and I changed the filter, however the warning light remains on. What do I need to do to turn of this warning light?

If you push the "OFF" button for the front air conditioning for about 4 seconds it will reset the system and A/C Filter Reset will appear in the message box. This can be found on page 60 of the owners manual. I hope this helps

:cries: Does anyone know how to get to the third brake light on the '01 ls430. My bulb burned out and I'm trying to install a new bulb. I thought I can get to the bulb socket after removing the subwoofer grille from the rear dash but there is no room. I tried to go in from the trunk and I just run into 3 fasteners that hold down the brake light housing. Any help would be appreciated.

It's very easy actually. to access the brake light do the following:

from the back seat hold the break light assembly and give it a push to the left (this is towards the passenger side) and the entire asembly will pop right out. It is held in by clips that will release when you move the assembly to the left. I hope this helps
