I’m posting this for my brother in-law. He just bought a 2003 GX470 and would like to upgrade the navigation system to the latest version (I think its version 7.1). Is there anywhere besides the dealership where one can purchase the upgrade DVD? He understands that the 2008 version will be out in October of 2008 but would like to be up-to-date as of now.

03 black... and luvin it like it was late mod

03 black/gray interior. i have always had black cars/suvs in the past. i guess i have gotten too used to it. gray interior compensates black exterior as far as keeping it look clean :D... the time you save maintaining the interior you can use to maintain the exterior ... get it. hey you missed black onyx on the poll. :chairshot:

congratulations! let's welcome ourselves to the forum (newbie too myself). in addition... the clunk repair is covered under the drivetrain 70k warranty. yours is at 38K miles. so you shld be covered and might as well take it to a lexus dealer... nicer lounge area and free refreshments and wash :) or you might get a loaner :whistles: while its getting fixed. i just had mine done last week... and no more thump/clunk, smoother stops and gos... now if i can only get them to fix the "drone" btw it might take a while for the dealer to get the parts... mine took a month... but it's worth the wait. goodluck.

there is a bul for this one I think... ST004-04 040219 Steering/Driveline - Vibration/Drone. Sorry can't paste all info here. I intend to have my dealer work on mine next service time. I do have this issue too.
