Lexus newbie here....
I just picked up a 2002 ES300, and it appears the NAV system has never undergone an update. I've tried researching what it will take to get this device update to a relatively new set of maps, but its been a difficult task to research!
From what I have gathered I currently have the Gen 1 installation, and from what I understand from a conversation with a dealer, the latest update currently available is Lexus Part Number PT219-GEN23 which sells for around $275.
With the power of the forums, I was hoping for advice/recommendations on (1) is that the correct part number and (2) recommendations for deals on perhaps used disks or alternative vendors.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!
