Yesterday (Friday) I received a phone call from my dealer telling me that they had the PIN # for the 350 I ordered.

Does anyone have an idea as to the time line for delivery to the local dealer?

I live in Las Vegas, maybe 6-7 hours from Long Beach.

(Don't get me wrong, I'm not really anxious)

I ordered a BLK/BLK luxury package IS350 and waited 4 months gave up and found the car at a different dealer. My wife ordered the same car in Breakwater blue and got it in 2 weeks. If you have the VIN # you should have it in about 4 weeks. If your dealer trades for one that is built and at port you coud have it in a day or so.

The 7.1 disc has to stay in your '08 IS, since that's what the Nav system reads the information from. It's not like installing a new program in your computer. From my understanding, if you try the newer disc in the '07 IS and than remove it and try to put back the 6.1 disc, it won't work anymore! Than you'll have to purchase a 7.1 disc for about $300. Good thought though.:cries:

I have a 2007 IS350 with nav 6.1 and I purchased a 2008 IS350 for my wife. Her nav sustem has the new 7.1 disc. Can I use her disc to update my nav. Does the disc need to stay in the car or can I put my old disc back in. Thanks for the help.
