  1. aww ... i'm really sorry to hear about you're loss ... i've never lost a dog, but came really close last year when my yorkie swallowed a piece of plastic and got cought in his small intestine's and they didn't think he was gonna make it, but he did, thankfully. i don't know what i would do it i lost any of my dogs, so i sympathize. my thought's and prayers are with you.

The dogs who've shared our lives.

In subtle ways they let us know

    their spirit still survives.

Old habits still make us think

we hear a barking at the door.

Or step back when we drop

a tasty morsel on the floor.

Our feet still go around the place

the food dish used to be,

And, sometime, coming home at night,

    we miss them terribly.

And although time may bring new friends

and a new food dish to fill,

That one place in our hearts

    belongs to them...

    and always will.

  2. I just bought a new 2008 IS350. I'm so excited about this car! It's my first Lexus :) Anywho, I have a bunch of thing's planned for this car, but I'm not sure exactly where to start ... I've checked out different websites for modification's, but there is like hardly any available .... Does anyone know of any good places or sites to buy parts from? I also want to put an exhaust on my car, but not sure which one to go with. I'm debating between the Greddy SP2, HKS, & Tanabe w/Racing Medellion ... which one sound's better? I'm looking for something that's not really quiet or too aweful loud, but not like all ricey sounding. I was talking to some dude and he has an 06 IS350 and told me not to get headers, because he had problems with them ... anyone else have any issues like this?

  3. Hey! I just bought a new 2008 IS350 October 3, 2007! It's my first Lexus, and omg I LOVE IT!!! I got it in Smoky Granit w/black leather interior and a luxury package w/navigation and all the good stuff with the maple trim and some X package options, like the front lip spoiler and rear spoiler. I'm seeing about getting racing pedals installed soon. I already have a ton of mod's in mind that I plan on doing probably next spring. I want to get a good exhaust that sounds not too ricey but not too muscley ... I had a 02 Celica (so sexy) with a Greddy Evo Catback Exhaust and I really liked it a lot, but I dunno how great it's gonna sound on the IS350 ... Right now I'm debating between the Greddy SP2, HKS, & Tanabe w/Racing Medellion .... Anyone have any good suggestions? I'm gonna try an attempt to attatch some pix, so hopefully they come up *i am a computer idiot*.

  4. I would reccoment NOT going though the dealership! My brother worked for Mazda and the stupid people there backed up into my old car (Celica) and messed up the rear bumper pretty good. Anyway, they said they would fix it, which took them about 2 month's to finally get around to doing. After they did the work, I had to take it back to them twice to get the to buff out some of the spot's they missed. I think I could have done a better job myself. I finally ended up selling the car with the bumper still not fixed to my likings, but whatever, someone else's problem now!! :P Another bad experience I had was when I bought the Celica brand new in 2002, I had the Action Package on it and we didn't notice until after we bought it, but it had a HUGE deep gash about a foot in length directly under the spoiler. The dealership said they would fix it (of course) and the only thing they did was sanded and buffed and put touch up paint on it, leaving it with no clear coating or anything, ew ... how icky ... so they did a horribly disgusting job! I will never take any vehicle I own for any type of body work to a dealership! They are known for doing sloppy work and over charge like crazy! Go to a reliable well-known body shop that does quality work! You won't be dissapointed! or however that's spelt, HeHe.

    2008 IS 250 (bought in september 13)

practically brand new (1000 more or less mileage)

    lease, about 35k

    no mods

Someone rammed the backside of my car, while backing out as I supsect, and drove off in a hurry leaving a broken reflector on the bottom left and some deep gashes in the surrounding area of the bumper. (http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y1/johgum/Linkage/?action=view¤t=IMG_2722.jpg)

Options are to either to take it to auto body shop or the dealer, but I've heard dealerships aren't exactly the most honest places in the world. Any suggestions? Also, what will be estimated cost for repairs for either auto body shop and dealer?

  5. I just bought a 2008 IS350 last wednesday and asked my car salesman about the IS-F. He told me that he ordered one. He had to put a $10,000 deposit down on the car that's non-refundable and the car is gonna be minimum $65,000. It only comes with white leather interior, which suck's and they are only offering it in a couple colors, but they are really cool though, especially the blue, which is the one he's getting. He also told me that it should be coming in around January. I'm not sure if that's right, but I'm just going by what he said. The car is going to be amazing! I wish I would have known it was coming out in January, I so would have waited! I didn't find out though until the day I picked my car up, oh well!! :cries:
