Does anyone else experience this? Could it just be a problem with my car?

it might be ur fone...but there is a service menu u can acess(only meant for dealers to use) there is a bluetooth adjustment menu in it.....if u wan let me know and i can tell u how to access it and u can mess around with it...but becareful there is an option in there that would lock ur whole system if u touch.....

I've the same problem. Changed country tab and do not remember what was selected so I don't know what kind of disc I need.

Maybe somebody could post all possible country selections found under "country tab".

As I remember there was JPN, US and ... and don't remember :-)

Knowing the country we should try to find corresponding LOADING.KWI file and take a try to start the navi with it.

YES YES YES....HALLELUJAH........It finally worked.

I opened the ECU unit, unplugged the wore that connects to the battery that saves the memory, the whole system was reset and it was very easy......

Okay need to bring this topic back up cause it happen to my IS. Does anyone know where the wire is with the battery on the nav ecu? I've tried taking everything apart and there weren't barely any wires in there. Only one the the antenna, one for eject button and then one ribbon wire to the disc reader itself. If anyone can help please let me know. thankx

IT WORKED......I own a LAnd Cruiser 04 which is the same as the lexus.....i opened the ECU unit and unplugged the blue ribon from the electronic board(the one that has the yellow batter attached to it)

and sure enuff it worked.
